2022 Chevy Tahoe SS – Full-size Chevrolet Tahoe SUVs have never been offered in high-performance Tahoe SS models. we hope that such variants can come to market with the introduction of the fifth-generation model, which was launched for the 2022 model year.
A new rendering of Abimelech Design envisions the return of the two-door Chevrolet Tahoe and gives this already exciting idea a sporty overhaul by making the SS version of the SUV. This odd vehicle may not be just rendering for a long time because the Custom Car Company is looking to put it into production.

This rendering takes inspiration from the two-door Chevrolet Tahoe we posted last week, which means we once again only have one door per side when it comes in and out. The extensive metal back and glass parts of our previous renderings remain, as does the next-generation Tahoe style for front and rear fascias.
However, to bless this with the right attitude, we have covered it with deep black paint, while the trim part is in complementary black as well. We also threw a single large set of alloy wheels at the corners.
The wheels are wrapped in high-performance rubber, and the brake rotor houses very large holes. T t again, the height of the rides is lowered to give the SUV the right attitude to the aesthetics of the street performance of the Chevrolet Tahoe SS.
Chevy Tahoe SS Horsepower
In May 2020, rumors began circulating that General Motors was working on a high-performance version of the new fifth-generation Tahoe, possibly called the Tahoe SS. Rumor has it that this model will be powered by a supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 engine, which is rated at 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque in the sixth-generation Camaro ZL1.

The Tahoe SS design features an aggressive front fascia, which is the most noticeable style change besides switching to a two-door body. Black trim adorns the body, including a center grille, badges, and some window trim. It rises on a deep dish wheel with polished rims and five, gloss-black spokes. The clear taillights are a touch of passé style but look fine in this app. As a final touch, there’s a pair of mid-exit exhaust pipes.

2022 Chevy Tahoe SS Interior
If the Chevy Tahoe SS comes to market, then it will definitely be a four-door model and not the two doors that some had hoped for. The two-door version of Tahoe is not part of GM’s strategy, according to GM Authority sources familiar with the automaker’s product plans.
2022 Chevy Tahoe SS Performances
Until the high-performance Tahoe, SS was on the market, the most powerful engine in the fifth-generation Tahoe range was the 6.2L V8 L87. The naturally envisioned gasoline engine, which is part of the EcoTec3 engine family, is rated at 420 horsepower (313 kilowatts) @ 5600 RPM and 460 pound-feet (623-newton meters) torque @ 4100 RPM. It’s mated to a new 10-speed GM automatic transmission.

We think 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque will be about the right to get the job done.
