On the updated Trail Boss prototype, we can see updated front bumper sculptures and new air curtain vents that eliminate the “sideburn” approach to the current Silverado air curtain aerodynamics.
The Silverado ZR2 prototype still has fake plastic caps in the corners at the bottom of the camouflage. They tried to resemble what the Trail Boss design looked like.
However, the new camo revealed a striking design difference in the truck. Although the Trail Boss’s front bumper has a soft chin that extends to the entire width of the front fascia, the ZR2 has a striking center slip plate that leads to a new bumper that leaves most of the tread on the front tire free to handle the terrain and rough rock.
The Silverado’s sleek front bumper will produce a much better approach angle and looks a lot like the Colorado ZR2.
In addition to revealing the ZR2’s completely different front bumper, the prototype also offers the best view of other details about the design.
The grille’s unique design is hidden in the camouflage mesh on the ZR2. The amazing LED fog lights appear to lie around a red tow hook close to where the simple front bumper begins to stretch upwards above the tire in front.
His Trail Boss prototype continues to drive the current Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 275/65R18 tire.
However, the ZR2 is equipped with Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT (Maximum Traction) tires. The ZR2 tires are slightly taller, as they become 275/70R18 on previous models. These are 33-inch tires rather than standard 32-inch tires equipped with Trail Boss.

But Cadillac may be currently working on a turbocharged version to the 6.2-liter V8 engine for the Escalade-V. There’s a chance of an explosive Chevy truck to take the F-150 Raptor R or Ram Rebel TRX.
The only thing to know is the result of Chevy’s product designers deciding to take that route, or if they’d instead leave off-road, high-powered luxury models to other vehicles like the electrified GMC Hummer SUT.
Previous spy photos from the bottom of the Silverado ZR2 prototype revealed evidence of long-range reservoir rear shock forms.
The name and specifications of the shock are unclear, so it remains unclear whether the model is equipped with a model built on a Multimatic shock found in the Colorado ZR2 or several different settings.
The revised Trail Boss has added a more substantial four-leaf spring setting and a more aggressive version of the ZR2 style.
