2022 Chevy Spark Colors, Price, Review
2022 Chevy Spark – The Chevy Spark is a city-friendly subcompact car, an affordable choice of car suitable for everyone on a budget. The Chevy Spark has several rivals, including Nissan Versa, Hyundai Accent, and Kia Rio.
Although arguably outdated in terms of collision avoidance technology, Spark has its advantages.

What’s new for 2022?
The Spark comes just as a hatchback. The bottom is looking for an inline-4 1.4-liter engine, there’s a Spark Activ trim that seems a little thick, but this little hatchback isn’t going out of the way anytime soon.
The fuel economy is not as impressive as you would expect because the four cylinders have to work pretty hard. Look for the 33 mpg combined with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) or a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Spark did come up with seven airbags, but that’s where his safety story ended. Don’t look for standard automatic emergency braking, something that’s standard in almost every other new car.
The Spark offers substantial value with a good fuel economy, a low starting price, and standard features.
Some rivals — including the Kia Rio and Hyundai Accent — are a little more powerful, efficient, and well-equipped. For example, both competitors come with standard power door and window locks, which are optional on the Spark.
With the collapse of the Fiat 500, the mainstream city car segment in the US is now occupied only by the Spark and Mitsubishi Mirage, and the small Chevy beat its Japanese rival by almost two to one. In Q1 2021, 11,505 Spark units were sold in the US, compared to 6,932 Mirage units.
Chevrolet is an American brand, and Mitsubishi may not be necessary, but Spark also has other advantages. The engine has an additional 20 horsepower.
The Spark has ten airbags, while the Mirage has seven. It is standard with a seven-inch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (option on Mitsubishi). In its most basic form, it is still the cheapest car currently sold in the United States.
2022 Chevy Spark Performance
Spark 2022 looks light and also fast. Spark can also maneuver. With primary 5-speed manual gearboxes available at all trim levels, it can even be fun to get around the city. However, the optional CVT reduces a bit of fun.
The short wheelbase gives Spark a dynamic driving motion even though the 15-inch wheels are as small as you’ll find in any vehicle that still offers the smell of a new car. At highway speeds, Spark can be a task to keep running in a straight line or uphill as well.
Chevy Spark Comfort
The Chevy Spark is a small car. The tight back seats and cheap interior are not surprising considering the affordable price and small dimensions.
Upfront, Spark offers decent comfort and good outside vision. The cargo chamber checked in at 11 cubic feet with an upright rear seat, and about 27 cubes were unloaded—the not extensive but not destructive use of what is given.
The material is far from unique, but Chevy at least tried with fun materials at most trim levels.

Chevy Spark Safety
Only the highest Spark 2LT can be had with automatic emergency braking—a standard feature in almost every new car.
The safety or driver assistance feature does not replace the responsibility of the driver to operate the vehicle safely. Drivers should keep an eye on traffic, the surrounding environment, and road conditions at all times.
Visibility, weather, and road conditions can affect feature performance. Read the Vehicle Owner’s Manual for limitations on features and more important information.
Chevy Spark Fuel Economy
Spark 2022 is rated at 33 mpg combined in most configurations, resulting in 6 out of 10 on our scale.
Parsing the numbers a bit, you’ll find a city of 30 mpg, 38 highways, 33 combined with an optional CVT, and 29/38/33 mpg with a 5-speed manual.
The Spark Activ model rose higher, which made it slightly less aerodynamic, and it lost one mpg in EPA testing.

2022 Chevy Spark Price
Chevy Spark 2022 comes in LS, 1LT, 2LT, and Activ trim levels. Prices for 2022 are not yet available, but last year’s model prices start at about $14,600. I am expected the price to only go up slightly for the latest model, 2022.
Each Spark comes with air conditioning and a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, so there’s not too much reason to spend more, apart from power windows and 1LT locks.
Automatic emergency braking is an additional cost option only on the 2LT, and while the choice itself is only $295, you’ll spend about $19,000 to unlock it.
