2022 Chevy Chevelle: Here’s What We Expected

2022 Chevy Chevelle – The Chevy Chevelle debuted for the 1964 model year as a mid-size car from Chevrolet.

It’s a smaller version of the Impala. It was produced throughout the 1960s and 1970s and is one of General Motors’ most successful models.

Chevelle models range from economical family cars to coups and powerful convertibles. The Chevy Malibu was initially the top trim level of the Chevelle line and replaced the Chevelle name entirely after 1977.

In 1966, General Motors of Canada launched Beaumont, and a new make was marketed and sold in the Canadian market.

Although Beaumont’s have never been actively sold in the U.S., they are based on the Chevrolet Chevelle and are differentiated by badging and unique logos with maple leaf designs. This custom 1966 Beaumont is now being sold with an eye-watering price tag.

The 1972 model year was very sentimental. Back when, his uncle would drive him to school in Pontiac LeMans 1969, and one day, Luis remembers hearing a bunch of noise and seeing a ton of tire smoke before a set of round tail lights shot into the distance.

The Chevy Chevelle sign was produced between 1963 and 1977, with three generations coming and going at the time.

Chevelle established herself as a faithful fan favourite relatively quickly, and now, one digital artist is reviving the name with modern renderings. That’s why we’re looking forward to the arrival of the Chevy Chevelle for the 2022 model year.

Looking at the modernised rendering of the Chevy Chevelle, there are a few cues to choose from. On the front, the quad headlights shine forward with typical U-shaped lighting, connected with horizontal LED lights, and an SS badge placed centrally in the upper grille. Angled angular lights help frame lower air intake, complementing the edge-like hood lines.

Moving back along with the wings, we found a modern Chevy Chevelle lowered on top of a set of polished five-talking Chevrolet Camaro SS wheels, neatly under a square fender.

The lower force line breaks the panel line, as do the additional folds above the fenders. Also notable is the two-tone colour treatment, with a yellow-orange hue for the bottom of the vehicle and a dark grey finish for the canopy.

Chevelle Interior

Inside, the 1972 Chevelle SS sport measures a lightweight new roll cage, while Simpson’s harness and Scat racing chair hold the occupants in place.

All that extra support is required when more than 500 horsepower on the tires. Under the hood, the Chevelle SS runs a 6.2L V8 LS3, sourced from a 2013 Chevy Camaro.

Eight is connected to the TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission, which feeds the new rear end with 3.73 gears. Providing the soundtrack is the Black Widow exhaust system.

Smartly, the owner also felt fit to improve the suspension, which now includes a Stage 5 UMI Performance kit and a Viking Performance Coilover. There are also new Wilwood brakes with drilled rotors, cross holes and stainless steel brake lines.

We hope the 2022 Chevy Chevelle receives minor changes and updates, representing the previous model year.
